Violins Two!

Played the first movement of my transcribed Sonata for Two Violas on 3rd October at St Dunstan’s Church in Canterbury. And will be giving a further performance on:

FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER 2024 at 3pm in St MILDRED CHURCH in CANTERBURY

One hour of varied music for two violins and delicious refreshments afterwards.

Violins Two! (Iva Fleischhansova and Stelios Chatziiosifidis) will be performing programme of music by Luigi Boccherini, Kent based composer and conductor Peter Aviss, Miklos Rozsa (his slow movement from the Sonata very much inspired by Hungarian folksongs), Josef Suk (charming Melody Melody written for young violinists at the beginning of the 20th century) and folksongs from the British Isles arranged by Bill Thorp.

Iva Fleischhansova and Mark Butler to perform Sonata for 2 Violins for the first performance of the complete work.

At St Martins Church, Church St, Epsom KT17 4PX. Concert begins at 4.30pm

Folkestone Symphony

are to play a new work titled Searching, commissioned by Folkestone and Hythe Orchestral Society on 8th March 2025.

The concert is at Holy Trinity Church, Folkestone, conducted by Rupert Bond.

To hear The Seafarer, it is the 1st item in this concert by LMP.
